Steven Padla

Director of Communications

Steven Padla serves as the Director of Communications at David Geffen School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre, where he has worked since 2002 supporting new works created by artists such as David Adjmi, Lileana Blain-Cruz, Oliver Butler, Bill Camp, Will Eno, Marcus Gardley, Jackson Gay, Sam Gold, Danai Gurira, Amy Herzog, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Rolin Jones, Mary Kathryn Nagle, Jiehae Park, Bill Rauch, Sarah Ruhl, Paula Vogel, Rebecca Taichman, Liesl Tommy, August Wilson, Robert Woodruff, and Laurie Woolery. Previously he was associated with the publicity firm Boneau/Bryan-Brown, where he represented a variety of Broadway productions, including Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking starring Vanessa Redgrave, Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, Proof by David Auburn, Art by Yasmina Reza, and Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida; as well as Drama Dept. and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. He and Jackson Gay are the Producing Artistic Directors of New Neighborhood, which creates Live Actions, socially interactive theatrical installations. He is a graduate of Fordham College at Lincoln Center and lives in New Haven, Connecticut.
