Sarah Masotta (she/they) is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean/Managing Director, the Assistant Dean/General Manager, and the Chair of Theater Management. They have experience in nonprofit, university, and government affairs, including working for New Haven’s current House Representative Rosa DeLauro in Washington, D.C., focusing on education, health, and human services policy. Sarah came to New Haven in 2013 as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer focusing on educational equity through poverty alleviation in partnership with local government and the nonprofit community. In 2015 they began working at Yale’s Jackson School for Global Affairs. Sarah came to the David Geffen School of Drama in 2023 as Interim Financial Coordinator, before joining the Theater Management program as Senior Administrative Assistant.
Beyond Yale, they are a registered yoga teacher with training in Horton technique from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Sarah is a ceremony practicing member of the Oglala Lakota Nation.
