Rosalie Stemer teaches clear, concise writing at David Geffen School of Drama in both the Department of Theater Management and in Technical Design and Production. In addition, she coaches reporters and editors around the United States in better writing and editing. Rosalie has done editing and reporting for the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and other metropolitan daily newspapers. Previously she taught clear writing and editing to graduate students in Stanford University’s Department of Communication and UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. She was awarded a Knight Fellowship to Stanford University. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism.
