She received her MFA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School for Speech and Drama in London, she enjoys collaborative projects and inventive approaches to making theatre. As a scenic artist, she cut her teeth freelancing in the scrappy world of Chicago storefront theater and fabrication shops. Most recently, she was the Charge Scenic Artist at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she painted multiple world-premiere productions. She has a B.A. in Theatre from Knox College. When she’s not painting wood to look more like wood, Mikah is an avid hiker, traveler, and aerialist.
