Melle is a New York City based artist whose work exists at the intersection of culture, communication and collaboration. She is the Founder and Creative Director of “The Make Good Project,” – a non-profit dedicated to providing space, resources and community for Black women to create art in atmospheres that promote wellness. She is also Founder and Principal at Powerful Communications – a consulting company that has led artistic and organizational culture work for BAM, Barrington Stage Company, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Red Bull Theater Company, The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window on Broaday, and others. She is a Producer on an annual community engagement festival, Celebration of Black Voices, at Barrington Stage Company. MFA, NYU; Certified Diversity Professional.
