Krista Dobson

Non-Clinical Counselor

Krista Dobson is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose passion is empowering students to reach their best potential. Prior to joining the staff at Yale University, Krista’s experiences have included clinical counseling in university and community outpatient mental health agencies. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate informed by interpersonal, psychodynamic and multicultural perspectives. Professional interests include identity development in emerging adulthood, adjustment concerns for students from underrepresented populations, and how power, privilege and oppression influence mental health. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University.
