Kelsey Rainwater

Lecturer in Acting and Stage Management

Kelsey is an Actress, Fight, and Intimacy Director based out of the ancestral lands of the Quinnipiac people.

She is a Lecturer in Acting at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, and is a faculty Fight and Intimacy Director for DGSD productions. She is a Lecturer in Drama and Theater and Performance Studies at Yale College, and serves as a Fight and Intimacy Advisor for Undergraduate Productions. She is also a Resident Fight and Intimacy Director at YaleREP. She has taught at Mason Gross School of the Arts, CalArts, and run workshops at Smith College.

Some of Kelsey’s most recent work was as Intimacy and Fight Director on The Tempest at The Public Theater. Kelsey’s work has been seen off-broadway, as well as regionally across the northeast including: YaleREP, The Guthrie, Rattlestick, The Public’s Mobile Unit, Keen Company, and Chester Theater.
