Edward A. Martenson, Professor Emeritus, was the Theater Management Department Chair from 2006-2017. Previously he was Vice-President for Education with National Arts Strategies, Executive Director of the Guthrie Theater (with Artistic Director Garland Wright), Theater Program Director of the National Endowment for the Arts, Managing Director of the Yale Repertory Theatre (with Artistic Director Lloyd Richards), and Managing Director of the McCarter Theatre (with Artistic Director Michael Kahn).
