Douglas Kester

Lead Carpenter

Douglas Kester is the Lead Carpenter for the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. Doug received a BA in Theater from the University of Maine in 2014. Since graduating, Doug has been doing seasonal and overhire work at various places, such as the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Maine State Music Theatre, Tait Towers, and more. Doug started out as a causal employee at Yale in 2019, and has done overhire work there over the years. In 2023, Doug official became staff at Yale.
