Anja Powell

Anja Powell (she/her) has over a decade of experience in regional and off-Broadway theater prior to joining the team at the David Geffen School of Drama. She worked extensively as Production Video on shows such as Deep Blue Sea (Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company) at the Park Avenue Armory, and Kimberly Akimbo (David Lindsay-Abaire) at Atlantic Theater Company; and Projections Programmer for Fires in the Mirror (Anna Deavere Smith) at Signature Theater Company, and The Bedwetter (Sarah Silverman) at Atlantic Theater Company. She was a Project Manager and mentor for several years with Five Ohm Productions, overseeing video engineering as well as equipment and labor needs for projects such as KATE (Kate Berlant, Bo Burnham) at the Connelly Theater, Space Dogs (Van Hughes, Nick Blaemire) at MCC Theater, and events for a number of corporate clients.
