Before coming to work at the David Geffen School of Drama Anna Glover (they/them) had more than 12 years’ experience working in two of the largest and most prestigious theater and arts organizations in the United Kingdom: London’s Royal National Theatre (NT) and Southbank Centre. During this time they also taught at London’s Rose Bruford College of Theater and Performance from 2009–2015.
After moving to the US in 2016 Anna qualified as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and built a robust consulting practice continuing to work with NT and with the Ambassador Theatre Group; London’s Sadler’s Wells Theatre; and New York’s Lyric Theatre among others. Anna is an active member of USITT, currently serving on the I.D.E.A.S. committee. Anna founded the Safety Advisors Forum Live Entertainment (SAFLE) which is now in its seventh year.
Anna received their B.A. in English Literature from the University of Wales, Bangor in 1997. Anna lives with their wife Raquel, and cat Riley in the unceded lands of the Wappinger, Quinnipiac and Paugussett peoples
