Wesley Fata, Professor Emeritus in the Acting Department of David Geffen School of Drama, has choreographed productions on and off Broadway and in regional theaters throughout the country. He worked on the original production of Hair as assistant director and choreographer, as well as choreographing Master Harold…and the Boys and I Won’t Dance, and James Lapine’s 12 Dreams at the Public Theater, among others. His regional credits include Lost in the Stars and Camille (with Kathleen Turner), both at Long Wharf Theatre. He has also choreographed numerous operas in the United States and Europe. His film credits include the Coen Brothers’ The Hudsucker Proxy and The Good Shepherd. Besides teaching at David Geffen School of Drama, Wesley Fata has choreographed a large number of plays there.
