Camillia Sanes Monet is an American actress and film producer. She began her career in acting, appearing in films such as War of the Worlds, directed by Steven Spielberg, playing opposite Tom Cruise, Seabiscuit, opposite Tobey Maguire, and the recurring role, Aurora Aceveda in the Emmy Award FX hit series The Shield.

Monet is the CEO and founder of Esperanza Productions, LLC, located at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. The company produces films, television, shortform content and commercials on all platforms. Current films include: Unmerciful Good Fortune starring Rosario Dawson, While You Were Dancing starring Taye Diggs, Whichboard, directed by Chuck Russell (The Mask, The Mummy…) and a highly anticipated biopic film based on a true story written by Steve Rivele (Nixon, Ali..,) starring Vince Vaughn, which highlights her hometown, Philadelphia.

Camillia works with international partners on projects which include an epic Nazi Germany TV drama produced by Angel & Bear Productions. Monet created the concept and story. In digital, she created States of Horror, featuring YouTube star, Creeps McPasta, created and directed the online sketch comedy show The Hot Take! starring social media celebs. Other producing credits include: The Winged Man, a short film written by Oscar-nominated writer, Jose Rivera; a romantic comedy (feature film) Love or Whatever, (Amazon day one sell-out), award-winning film Jenny (AT&T, Trevor Project LGBTQ Campaign) directed by Lance Bass (Backstreet Boys) and Pauly Perret (NCIS); Devil May Call, (feature film, Lionsgate); and De-Railed (feature film) starring Lance Hendrickson.

Camillia has also appeared as a TV guest and in recurring roles for CBS: Cold Case; FX: Saving Grace; NBC: Law & Order; and CBS: The Agency. Recently she completed filming in the feature film Await The Dawn in pre-production on “Three Generations” women in a new Hollywood, starring Sally Kirkland. Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theatre credits include: The Roundabout Theatre, Lincoln Center, Playwrights’ Horizon, Second Stage, Here Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, San Diego Repertory South Coast Repertory, Indiana Repertory, Philadelphia Drama Guild, ACT, and Mark Taper Theatre. She’s been named the top female entrepreneurs of 2015 in Hollywood and was praised for her work in female empowerment by Splash Magazine. Camillia is a Guest Artist and Speaker at UCLA, Rome University and Scoula Di Teatro in Bologna, Italy. She is an adjunct professor at various institutions such as NYU (Tisch School), Woodbury University, and currently New York Film Academy. Camillia coaches on set privately and is an acting instructor for several Los Angeles studios.

She is a proud board member for Shine! Youth Musical Theatre, Advisory Board member of LoNYLA, and Women in New Hollywood Film Festival.
